About Us

Molly McCarty has been the owner/operator of Kinship Kennel since 1988. Her degree in Animal Sciences greatly enhances her knowledge and capability to provide expert care and compassion for all her four-legged boarders. With a staff of eight caregivers, each dog is guaranteed loving individual care and attention throughout the day.

We treat your pets as if they were our own...we know them all by name, know their favorite toys, play with them at the activity level they like, and make sure they are happy and comfortable with us. We welcome dogs with special physical, medical or nutritional needs.

The soothing music piped into the boarding areas helps your pets enjoy their stay with us. Individual play sessions provide one-on-one attention and loving, and if there are more than one pet in the family, the whole family can go play together!

We're easy to find, right on Route 114 in Mechanicsburg, and are very convenient to everyone from Carlisle to the West Shore, Harrisburg to York, and communities North and South off of Route 15.
